Larimar conjurs images of tropical waters, soft white sands and the mysteries of the deep. Though locally abundant, Larimar is a very rare gem as it can only be found in one square kilometer of dense rainforest in the Dominican Republic. Moreover, large stones with good color and quality are especially unusual to find. Larimar is mined by expert miners who dedicate their lives to mining this stunning gem using hand tools!
